We have been getting into the festive spirit here at the preschool- with so many Christmas activities for our children to explore every-day.
Our children also put on the most amazing performance in their annual Nativity Play!
Thank-you to all of our staff and parents for your hard-work and support!
The Christmas raffle, cake sale and lucky-dip gift bag sale (following on from the play) raised an amazing £189.50 towards special activities in the up and coming year.
We are excited to continue with the festivities up until the end of term and are really excited for our Christmas Party on Wednesday 17th December!
Just a reminder that there is no afternoon session after the party and this is the last day of term.

At our last inspection in 2021, we were graded Good by Ofsted. We have an excellent reputation within the local community and parents whose children have attended regularly recommend us.
“Children are happy at the Pre-school and demonstrate that they feel safe and secure through their positive attitudes towards learning”- Ofsted

Our long standing, dedicated and caring team of staff provide a fun environment that supports children’s learning and development.
We are very proud to have an extremely experienced team of staff- who are all commited to the progress of every child in our care. All of our team have Qualified at NVQ Level 3 or higher; plus hold years of experience both here at Pied Piper and in other child care settings: including SEN.
“Staff foster a nurturing atmosphere that is focused on building children’s confidence and self-care skills, in readiness for school”- Ofsted.

Here at Pied Piper we follow the Early Years Foundation Stage Curriculum (EYFS). Children are well supported through a range of activities and routines that support all 7 areas of their learning and development.

Our goal is to support each child as an individual- to help them develop the skills, independence and confidence needed for their transition into school.

The start of the new school year has been really exciting! Not only have we welcomed lots of new children- but we have also had some exciting changes to the Preschool garden. Our new sand pit and sensory path are now finished and the children are enjoying exploring their newly improved outdoor space. We have also enjoyed visits from farmer Phoenyx and Marilyn this term- teaching us about farming and Harvest Festival. Thank you to all our parents who donated food for Harvest this year :). We ended this half term learning about and celebrating Diwali; creating our own Rangoli art-work, learning about the origin of the celebration through stories and making our own Diya lamps.
