Preschool Manager: Miss Zanabella Cadair-Idwal
I joined Pied Piper in February 2025, having previously worked in large corporate chain day nurseries- managing a charity run preschool in Oxfordshire, and also having my own very successful setting where we got accredited by Ican as a specialist. I have worked in the childcare profession for 29 years specialising in children with Special educational needs as well as also being a mum myself who has personal experience with SEN at home.
As manager and colleague at Pied Piper, I am proud of the passion and determination that the staff have for our little people to give them the very best starts in their lives. It is very much a family!
Deputy Manager: Mrs Lenihan
I joined Pied Pipers in April 2025 having seen how much of a lovely Preschool it was through my daughter who attends. I have previously Qualified as a level 3 practitioner in both Health, Social Care & Early years and also Early Years learning and development. Having gained my Early years Qualifications I wanted to explore working in a SEN environment so found myself moving to a Specialist Educational Needs School in Reading. I worked there for 9 years; inititially as a Support Assistant before taking promotion as a TA. I have taken part in a vast amount of training around SEN including Autism awareness, ADHD awareness and behaviour that challenges. In 2022 I qualified as a level 2 specialist in Behaviour that Challenges.
I feel that my experience working in a Special Educational Needs environment helps towards the inclusion provision at Pied Pipers. It is nice to know that I can take all of the knowledge I have gained and use it to support the wonderful children that attend Pied Piper.
I currently work on Tuesdays and Wednesdays but am also available Mondays and Fridays if Miss Zanabella is absent.
